Your little brother, Luis Alberto July 07 Another chapter in my life . . .Greetings, like must of my friends already know. Recently my life took a change not planed, in fact the reason for the birth of this blog. It was approximately 3 weeks ago that I lost my job and as if it wasn’t enough my fiancée decided to get on a plane and leave our relation literally on the air. She did not have the education, respect or common sense of saying good-bye or at least explaining the reasons to go away, I'm still waiting for a phone call or at least an e-mail saying good-bye. Though between you and me, well in of my heart I knew she hasn’t been completely sincere. You can always see the small details but love is blind and I must accept that I fell in love with her and I trusted her.
Like any job loss, mine has turned out to be quite difficult not alone in the economic part, also in the emotional part since it affects the daily routine and responsibilities. The loss of an employment according to many professionals compares with the mental agony of a divorce. It is a difficult process in every sense; it is like a roller coaster it has its ups and downs, twist and turns.
And if to that we add the emotional load of the separation in a relation and the pain it causes. Especially when you really love that person, you trust her and they leave without giving you the opportunity of closure. It really leaves you with the terrible sensation of loss and defeat, betrayal and abandonment, at least that’s the way I had felt.
I can only say to that the first 2 weeks were terribly difficult and depressing, I felt for the second time in my life this illness so damned that is called a depression. It’s a terrible, destructive and insidious illness that leads us to pain, it won’t let us see that there’s hope and each day offer us a new opportunity. I would compare being depressed like having a small devil standing on your shoulder saying to you constantly that you aren’t worth a thing and anything you do will be in vain that you must end with your life.
I just have begun my search for an employment and I still miss this person a lot, I still think of her. But I cannot understand how it is possible to some people to play with the feelings of the others so easily. I been reading a lot to distract my mind and understand the whole thing. Recently I read an article in MSN Today title: The lowdown on cheating. I can’t understand how someone can say they care so much about another person, and yet overlooks those feelings to enjoy some fleeting moment with another. Sure there's this "rush" that goes with the whole affair deal, but is the high they get worth the extreme pain and suffering they caused the other person? Or are they too busy thinking merely of themself and not how their actions affect the person whom they claim to care so much about? Why people won't communicate with each other and be willing to work at relationships so that some of the pain and hurt that infidelity causes could be avoided. I can tell you by my own experience that it would make it less painful if the two parts sat down and talk about the situation.
Thankfully, God puts good people in our way, Angels that move between us filling our heart's with hope and offering a bit of support, peace and calm. Hereinafter I will abound in each of the topics and will keep you informed about my great adventure in the life, the search of employment and in love.
